Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film, originally titled “The Great Indian Rescue,” has now been renamed “Mission Raniganj.” The movie is based on the true story of Jaswant Singh Gill, a mining engineer who saved 64 miners trapped in a flooded coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, in 1989.
According to sources, a one-minute teaser of the film will be released this week to coincide with Kumar’s birthday. The teaser is described as a thrilling and suspenseful preview of the movie.
