Former boxing champion Dingko Singh’s biopic, helmed by Shahid Kapoor, put on hold
Shahid Kapoor’s project to portray the life of Dingko Singh, a former boxing champion and Asian Games gold medallist, has been cancelled. The director of the biopic, Raja Krishna Menon, confirmed this news. Menon stated in an interview with News18 that the film has been put on hold and that sometimes it is necessary to move on from certain projects. Menon also mentioned that he and Shahid Kapoor frequently discuss ideas for films, but they both agree that the subject matter must do justice to the character Shahid would play. Menon expressed his desire to make films with friends and hopes to find a great script for their next project.
