YouTuber ‘Crazy Sumit’ must have been inspired by one of the prank videos on YouTube when he decided to make one of his own. What he probably didn’t know was that many of these videos are staged and the consent is first taken from the person on whom the prank is being played.
The video, (which is now deleted from YouTube) shows Sumit walking on the roads and randomly kissing girls who get disgusted and start running behind him to bash him up. However, he is too fast for the girls and people in the surrounding areas to catch hold of him. He then put up the video terming it as the ‘funniest YouTube Prank of 2017’ which ironically got some 2k likes and over a lakh clicks!
Sensible netizens then noticed the video and called him out for such outrageous video content. He then deleted the video and apologised for his deed via video saying it was just meant for ‘entertainment’! The video is now unavailable.
Imagine someone kissing you in broad daylight and escaping like a monkey. And then the entire incident being played on YouTube, calling it a ‘prank’! This totally disgusting video points out how sick the mentality of this country is.
It’s about time people realise the meaning of consent and its implications
